PHOENIX SEAGAIA RESORT has teamed up with Ajinomoto Co., Inc., which supports top athletes with sports science research and "WINNING MEAL), to offer the Miyazaki SEAGAIA "WINNING MEAL" sports training camp plan, providing the optimal training environment.
Miyazaki Prefecture enjoys a relatively mild climate even in winter, and boasts one of the highest numbers of sunny days and sunshine hours in the country. It has excellent facilities for various sports, including SEAGAIA, and is frequently used by professional and corporate teams in baseball, soccer, rugby, and other sports.
SEAGAIA offers not only accommodation but also a wide range of sports facilities, including a multi-purpose ground, golf course, and fitness center. Furthermore, as part of a collaboration with Ajinomoto Co., Inc., they will be offering meal menus inspired by the "WINNING MEAL" (Winning Meals®) concept, for which former Japanese national swimming team member Takeshi Matsuda serves as ambassador.
In addition, Ajinomoto Co., Inc. will be offering a free "WINNING MEAL" workshop to help you build a strong body. Please take advantage of Miyazaki SEAGAIA 's sports training camp plans, which include support in terms of nutrition, to enhance your training.
For everyone who is serious about sports, we provide the optimal training environment to help you "win."

What is "WINNING MEAL"?
"What to eat"
Think about "why you eat."

"WINNING MEAL" is a nutrition program designed to improve the nutritional environment of athletes, born from the long-term support activities of Ajinomoto Co., Inc.'s athlete support program, "Victory Project®," and backed by sports nutrition science.
A well-balanced meal can be achieved by following the "five pillars" of staple foods, main dishes, side dishes, soup, and milk/dairy products, and skillfully incorporating fruits. Additionally, incorporating nutrients such as amino acids and carbohydrates, which are essential for sports, can help with conditioning.

"WINNING MEAL" Meal Menu

At SEAGAIA, we offer meal menus based on the "WINNING MEAL" concept. We will explain effective eating methods and how ingredients affect the body. Our head chef, who has experience hosting training camps for many professional sports teams, along with our cooking and service staff, will support you in building your body through food.
About the "WINNING MEAL" meal menu (game meat)
Starting in February 2024, we will begin offering "Mapo Tofu with Wild Boar Meat" and "Minced Deer Meat Rice Bowl," both made with game meat from Miyazaki Prefecture (Nishimera Village), as part of our training camp meal menu.
Both menus feature dishes that utilize ground meat, which is said to be quickly absorbed by the body.
Nutritional value of game meat
Compared to pork, wild boar meat contains approximately four times more iron and three times more vitamin B12, even though the protein and fat content are the same.
Compared to beef, venison has one-sixth the fat and half the calories, yet it contains about 1.4 times more protein, about twice as much iron, and is also rich in vitamins.

Mapo Tofu with Wild Boar Meat

Compared to pork, wild boar meat contains the same amount of protein and fat, but is richer in iron and vitamin B12, making it an ideal treat for a tired body.
Minced venison stew (rice bowl)

Compared to beef, venison is low in fat while containing more iron, protein, and vitamins, making it ideal for growing children and athletes who train hard, as it helps build quality muscle.
